Maria Kebuladze is a Ukrainian artist from Kyiv with Georgian and Urumian Greek roots, working between electronic music, spoken confession, live experimentation, and cinematic sound design.

Shaped by classical music education, choir singing, improvisational vocal practices, cultural studies, and later studies in music production and sound engineering, her work blends trip-hop, ambient textures, noise, looping composition, and emotionally charged vocal performance.

Her debut album, [Lysty Nenadislani] Letters Unsent, reflects on rupture, memory, displacement, and survival through deeply personal yet atmospherically immersive sound worlds.

As one close friend and collaborator described it: “Letters Unsent doesn’t come across as a polished statement made to impress. It feels lived, with all the fragility and depth that entails. And that’s exactly why it resonates.”

KEBU is an electronic-pop music project

The Project was introduced to the world in 2021 with the indie-folk EP Emotional Tone, where Maria shared songs written during the solitude of the COVID era — just her, her father's guitar, and a worn-out Shure microphone.

Passionate about collaboration, Maria recorded her debut EP with a friend and mixed it with the help of two others. Since then, collaborations have remained central to KEBU's creative journey, bringing talented people into its musical orbit.

Blending elements of electronic, acoustic, pop, ethnic, trip-hop, and beyond, KEBU's sound playfully defies categorization — the driving force and voice behind the project jokingly calls it unpredictable indie.

So let’s spin the roulette wheel and see what happens!
